Saturday, Oct. 22 is Natick Trails Day.
By Alissa Letkowski
This Oct. 22, grab your work gloves and a shovel and head to the Natick Town Forest for the second annual Natick Trails Day.
Volunteers can choose from one of two shifts or can work throughout the day to help beautify the trails. The first shift runs from 9 a.m. to noon and the second, from noon to 3 p.m.
It's recommended that workers bring work gloves, long pants, boots, long-sleeve shirt, loppers, bow saw, pick axe and a shovel.
Parking will be avaiable at Mathworks and Sargent Field next to Lilja, a short walk from the meeting point at the town forest.
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, call Pat Conaway at 508-740-9949 or email bpconaway@gmail.com.
